Embedded virtual sensors



We were selected to produce an algorithm and a method to deploy “virtual sensors” capable of reconstituting the value of a measurement point using other sensors.


Using sensors embedded on test resources, we had a full set of data representative of all the operational situations the aircraft could encounter while in service. We used this history by producing an algorithm methodology that made it possible to adapt to the contextual effects and different transitory configuration changes an aircraft can encounter in any situation. We were thus able to design an array of about fifty virtual sensors that do not exist on standard products but which provide valuable long term data on fatigue and strain modes.
